Robbie brought stability and promotion so for that im grateful. Its laughable the irony of the situation though, reckon budgie thought this would be ultimate insult to us or something? £100k thank you and when you fail at court dont let the door bang yer fat arse or your melted face dear.
It would be funny if they got kick out the league all together though...unlikely to happen...but would be funny!
It was always a calling on the cards he would go back there but the timing surprises me. If the Championship is his ambition then good luck to him. OK he got us promotion but now he has fecked everyone over he simply becomes a smell in the wind now. No wishes of luck or fortune from me (or ill will).
Would love to see him miss promotion next year and see how he handles the flack.
Of course maybe he's also porking Budgie.
does anyone maybe think Neilson has just found his level? tried his luck down south didnt work for him. Although he got a wee reaction when he came in after csaba (which anyone would have got). Neilson got very lucky with the timing of Ogren coming in and splashing the cash! id like to see if RN is capable of doing a job at a club whos budget isn't big. thats how you can test his ability as a manager
I.e could he do what tommy wrights done at St johnstone?!?
what i meant though is that he seems to only able to do well with teams who's budget is bigger than majority of league. yes he done well when he got them up but still had the 3rd biggest budget.
"unfinished business" is nonsense chat from imo. if in prem then i get it but in championship. hes basically going back to do exactly the same he done the first time!
Don't agree mate. Any manager that leaves a contract early, especially one that's their dream job (let's face it) is going to feel like he has unfinished business. He'll be confident he can get Hearts up at the first time of asking and then have another go at what he was achieving when he left.
Hard to judge the budget question as he's only managed 3 clubs. Possibly. Not many Scottish managers do well when they go down south though, so I'm not sure I'd hold that against him. And look at what happened when he left Hearts? Their budget was still the same, so something was going right for him while he was in charge.
