Seems to me that some, a few, of our fans are never ever happy.

When the Snake was wanting out there were rumours of an American takeover. Some fans rubbished it as a diversion.

Then when the Ogrens took over a few fans were unhappy because we might be getting bought as his 'plaything'. Yet he invested heavily in buying back our mortgages assets and invested in our youth development strategy.

Then some fans openly mocked his ambition.

Then some fans didn't like TA - and still don't.
They trolled him on Twitter and FB.

What is DUSF if not to support Dundee United?
What is so wrong in the owner asking for the funds to be given unconditionally?
That's where I want my money to go and I'll let the owners decide how to spend it.

If Covid hadn't hit we may have sold a striker for between 2 and 3 million and we may have got a million for our goalkeeper. That's before a rumoured 500k offer for a youth player. That would have been seen as a very good return on initial investment. But Covid did hit and it changed EVERYTHING.

I think a few fans need to calm down and smell the coffee. We are very lucky to have the Ogrens as owners because as James says if they hadn't bought the club we would be in deep sh1t.

I was perfectly happy with everything at the club until the owner asked why are we still playing?,Tony blamed both government's for not providing more financial assistance and the club asking DUSF to empty its bank account giving the impression it was on the brink.
On my last sentence it would be like me asking you for a loan of a tenner when i had a grand in the bank.If you were to ask an average Scottish football supporter which club in Scotland is in big trouble and most affected by the pandemic their answer would be DUFC.
I base that on the interview given by big Tony and widely reported on by the Scottish media,to this date i do not recall any other team in the Premiership releasing anything similar apart from the lunatic running the Sheep.

Hearts fans pump thousands if not millions into their club by way of foundation = great fan support.

We start to do the same thing = jealous Dee fans claiming we're going into Admin

If the owner is pumping money into the club I see no reason why he he shouldn't ask the DUSF to contribute funds gathered to support the aims of the club.

And I see no reason why he shouldn't criticise the government who at the time of his comments had offered help to rugby but not to Premiership football.

I'll admit the cancel the league thing was a head scratcher though.

Is it because he had the temerity to criticise the Scottish Government that's winding a few up??

Sorry but that's rubbish the money for ALL sport was announced as one package and there is no FN way i would put politics ahead of United i'm truly amazed that you would think like that.
I will put it in a nutshell the owner and his Sporting Director made an utter chunt of our club with that statement and opened us up to such an extent that an FN Funster was on national radio discussing our finances, that was truly embarrassing.

I haven't slagged United fans for giving the club money...fans giving money is the reason my club is still alive...like other people have said on this thread MO has left an open goal for people to have a pop...and I like that 😄💰😄

The only people having a pop are people who think it is wrong for foundation to give utd money.I doubt you find this wrong but troll GB etc to wind them up about it and make out it is wrong. You're support did chip in and try to help once they got to the 6p in the £.Our foundation is stepping in before it gets to that stage. You having digs about the foundation money does not bother me in the slightest I hate to see utd supporters getting upset about it though and think you going on about it to GB ect does not help.

You are completely missing the point about the foundation and the money paid to United, there is nothing wrong with that whatsoever. Its the way they went about getting the money as if without it Wagner was singing.
If we were listed on the Stock Exchange our shares would have collapsed after listening to an hour of Tony and that's a FACT.

Only people who have to worry about share prices are share holders I'm just a fan and all I care about is utd surviving and doing best they can.As have said the nonsense about shutting season was stupid agree a bit about goverment giving £500,000 of my tax money to hearts who probably team in scotland who least needed it and part time teams like Arbroath and Alloa money to rugby clubs and lower league football clubs have no problem with them doing this but teams who probably need the money most got zilch. They are getting a loan at faverable rates to be fair.Diddlie players going on radio to join up with rancid people to have a go at utd does not put me up nor down just makes me think less of adam who is a decent player but obviously an arse interfering in our business.
