Yes, Hales is unlikely to return whilst Morgan is still skipper, which is fair enough in my opinion. Unfortunately, Fletcher is a one dimensional player as well as trying to keep up with Samit at meal times.

Hales must have served his punishment by now and he is probably the most dynamic opener in England.
A bit like comparing Enzio to Messi. Anderson And Broad are among the best bowlers in the world and Fletcher really isn’t (as good a season as he is having)

As impressive as the big hitting was, Samit's spell of 2-0-7-1 was even more praiseworthy in such a shortened format. Luke Fletcher bowled one really poor over, but apart from that Yorkshire weren't given much to hit, which made it a stroll for the batsmen.

To be honest, I can’t believe how well Notts have done in the T20, this season, particularly after losing their first match. Ok, we’ve tied 3 matches, which is incredible in itself, but to get to this point with just one defeat is mightily impressive. Let’s not forget we’ve also been without our skipper all season too. The slow bowlers have been particularly outstanding throughout.

Knowing Notts, we’ll wait until the quarter final knock out match to register our next defeat 😂

Even though there is still a day to go, by denying Durham batting points Notts are assured of a place in the top division in what is basically the playoffs, or as the rules say they progress to Division One for the second phase of the County Championship. It's a strange format in the red ball game this season, but we seem to have finally conquered our jinx.

We have upped our performances this season and we sure needed to.
