Neither McGregor nor Chtistie would start for me, both have been lowping for some time and have brought nothing to games. We're at home so get two up front. McTominay Gilmour and McGinn in the middle of park. Marshall in goal. 1-0 Scotland.

Patterson I'm not so sure, definitely a talent but we have enough quality on other areas to get away with the average SOD as he will give us a bit more steel defensively than Patterson.

Clarke is annoyingly loyal, which means that even though Mcgregor and Christie have been awful the last few months, both will almost certainly be in the starting 11 day.

    My team would be:

    (352)
    Gordon
    Hendry Cooper Tierney
    O'Donnell McTominay Gilmour McGinn Robertson
    Adams Dykes
McGinn frustrates me, can be great or just fail to make the impact he can.
    My starting 11 would be

    Marshall
    Gallacher Cooper Tierney
    Patterson McGinn McTominay Armstrong Robbo
    Christie Dykes

If still level or behind sub McGinn for Gilmour and Christie for Fraser

Roy Keane annoys the hell out of me, but he does speak the truth most of the time whether I/we like it or not.
Neville is generally ok, but way over confident in his own opinions. Keane is what it says on the tin, an absolute k unt of a human being.

Tbh the punditry on ITV and BBC is woeful.

Very interested to see the BBC coverage of the game today. Will they just leave it all to BBC Scotland to run or will they give it the big production that England seem to constantly get?

Not sure how it works for folk living in Scotland but my system gives me BBC Engeland and BBC Scotland. I know which one I'll be watching 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🧡

I find that G. Neville is as bad as Lee Dixon when it comes to boredom, they can and do speak sense but they are also as boring as hell sometimes.
I like Guy Mowbray as a Beeb commentator, but it makes it harder when hes got the likes of Martin Keown alongside him, boring us all to sleep like he used to do at Arsenal.

The best co commentator I've heard is Andy Hinchcliffe.

Agree with what you say about O'Donnells steel. Clarke loves O'Donnell and I can't see him being dropped any time soon because of that.

He does give you more physicality especially at set pieces and has more experience than Patterson but my biggest worry about our 3 group games is that O'Donnell will cost us at least one goal.

He's not mobile or quick enough at this level and those are the two most important qualities needed. He's also poor with distribution at times. Admittedly Patterson is young and inexperienced but if I'm choosing a right back to face a left side of Sterling and Mount it would be Patterson every time.

Be interesting to see how he gets on today.
    C'mon Scotland

I dont mind gary neville, but i did find the Way he put his comments over last night about the dutch as very dismissive, as though he was some sort of Oracle.

I dont want to Jinx it, but the refereeing (Denmark pen aside) has been good, and they Are uĊĦing VAR as it should be used, only for clear cut mistakes, and letting refs by in large get on with it.
