Absolutely gutted the way Lewis lost the title. You have to say though Max has raced very well this season.

Initially, I thought for a split second on turn 6 of lap 1 Max had gone for a deliberate t-boner to end the race there and then. If it wasn't for Lewis' lightening reactions there surely would have been a collision.

As for the 11 second lead and someone loses it with 6 laps to go, you couldn't write that would happen. Max was never going to catch Lewis and he knew that. Lewis raced superbly all day and then that happened.

As for the calamity of the stewards initially saying lapped cars couldn't overtake then changing their minds 30 seconds later allowing Max to get right up behind Lewis on fresher tyres smacked of a fix. Disgusted at the stewards for that. It was obvious what was about to unfold as Max shot past him. A shocking end to a race and denying a true potential new world record holder standing proud.

No problem with a fair winner. It's been over the season that max and Horner have been moaning about unfair treatment and the "why me" treatment.
Whoch ever side of the fence your sitting, MV has cheated his way to the title. Sadly he didn't need to as he's a tremendous driver.
Hamilton was booed by the crowd yesterday. He got tremendous cheers today and they All know he should be 8x world champ, even though some are happy he's not.

Just picked this up:

Article 39.12 of sporting regs says: "If clerk of the course considers it safe to do so, and the message "LAPPED CARS MAY NOW OVERTAKE" has been sent to all teams, any cars that have been lapped by leader will be required to pass the cars on the lead lap and the safety car."

In this case, only Norris, Alonso, Ocon, Leclerc and Vettel were allowed to overtake it - they were the cars between Hamilton and Verstappen. Ricciardo, Stroll and Schumacher were not.

In other words, the sporting regulations do not cover this specific situation.

Today did and you seem happy to endorse cheating.
Each to there own but for me I’m mature enough to accept wether I like someone or not they have been robbed.
It’s called clarity of thought separating the emotion.
Some have it some don’t.

Hamilton has got up my nose a few times (he’s not the only one) but I watched most of it and was gutted he didn’t win, personally I think some of it was down to him/team but there definitely was some cheating going off imo

One rule for one, one rule for another hmmm where have I heard this before ��
