The standard of this league is shocking this year. We are very fortunate that we got off to a flyer and both Dundee and St Johnstone are as bad as they are. Delighted if we can scrape a top 6 finish as I think we need eveey penny we can get so we can try and fix the problems that clearly exist with the team by getting some new faces in.

Not so sure, there are good players and teams in this league

At the start f the season all I was looking for was 40 points and a positive attitude from the players

Well at this stage cup more than half full, we are still in with a chance of top six and a semi next Monday night

Even if we fall flat now we will be safe and can rebuild

However there’s been enough to enjoy on the park, especially compared to some other years, to keep me happy

To give Tam credit, he's got the team working hard for each other and are very strong defensively, there have been interviews after games when we have went 1-0 up where he is clearly annoyed they haven't pushed for 2-0.

If we were able to do that more then happy days.

I'm not really sure why he doesn't blame himself for that though, isn't it his job to instruct the team how to play? And to change it if its not happening? It's no good moaning about it after the fact, hook the guys who aren't following instructions and influence the game Tam. Apart from that I agree with the last sentence

I think the implication is the team aren't doing what he has asked if them. To be fair the reasons for that aren't going to be simple, for instance the opposition raising their game after going behind.

I think he is tempted to hook them, but listening to Tam's interviews- although it's only my take on reading between the lines- he doesn't have adequate options. He doesn't have this issue with the defence.
Hence why from an attacking point of view, the next transfer window is ultra important.

As I've said already, this is my (and most folks) biggest source of frustration, the fact that we didn't deal with the glaring deficiencies in the squad either in summer or in January. As someone said, we replaced Shankland with McNulty and replaced McNulty with nobody. Come to think of it can we not just swap McNulty for nobody again please?
