No I don't need to lay off it as its what I felt at the game and I was mentioning that game in the post, certainly wasn't a supportive atmosphere despite things steadying after 9-0, the players kept going even with the fans getting on their backs and turning, plus the eejits that booed Watt on was a minter (as they believe the nonsense rumours that him and Mulgrew are to blame for Ross being a dud), thankfully nothing like that the two home games after, even before we took the lead against Aberdeen the fans were onside

James, its doubtful that the fans are gonna be bouncing after a 7 and a 9,the team should consider themselves fortunate that they never got a couple of pandemic crowds.

Absolutely. The scorelines were bad enough but it was the entirely unacceptable way they capitulated in these games that was unforgivable

I hear what you’re saying GB, but the Livi game was before any of the disasters and was off the back of our best result of the season. The atmosphere was deid that day.

I noticed that too v Livi. It almost as if the fans, after a great result, just expect more of the same and sit back and expect the team to produce that level of performance. The 12th man needs to play its part at all times.

Against hibs there we certainly gee'd the players on in that last period plus injury time. I've never been a player (other than at mediocre level) but i know from other sporting endeavours how important hearing people spur you on is... when you feel you have no energy left they can lift you to produce more effort.

I feel we did that against the sheep and the players pulled extra graft from it and got the 3 points when it could have been 1... or none.

Maybe you can start giving the fans lessons on football supporters etiquette, according to you.

Do you really believe that the fans could just forget the humiliations we suffered after a matter of days?

Your 'always right' attitude reminds me of the story of the young soldier who's parents turn up to see him in a parade. As the parade begins it's obvious that the son is out of step. The mother turns to the father and says "look at that, our son is the only person in step out of the whole regiment".

Stop telling other fans how to go about thinking and behaving.

It’s maybe not been toxic but prior to the SSBs, the atmosphere at Tannadice has been like a morgue. I was away so I missed Septic (thank phuck), but against Livi and the two Saints it was like the inside of a church. Against the Sheepies was the first league game where punters were actually singing and getting behind the team imo.

The fact Watt was booed on by even a few Utd fans is toxic in itself so yea, I stand by it, certainly wasn't a supportive atmosphere that day and did not help the team at all

The fans have been much better the last two games, even before we took the lead
