Tbf this is a bit of a trick question. Let me explain.

I guess it depends who you are judging the success by. How about Stubbs, redfern and jacket? Ow and that black bloke (the name not colour)
So I guess you could argue. As a Rotherham manager at NYS. Warne is the most successful manager and also the worst manager.
He got us 3 promotions and 3 relegation. Evans 2 promotion. The others nil.
Now if your judging on relegation then warne is way out the worst with 3
Now if you judge success as keeping us in the championship then Evans is the best if it's thos one then your saying Warnock was a failure

Success to me is keeping the club in the championship. Taking us down from there was pointless getting us up to that level.

Is Ainsworth a failure at Wycombe?

If they are happy with their situation what's it matter. Think most millers fans their idea of success would be staying in the championship more than one season.

We might now be a well established Championship team if TS had given the same support to Steve Evans as he did with Paul Warne

    Who knows?
Cleary fishing but go on then, I’ll bite.

Didn’t TS give Evans an unsustainable amount of support that when withdrawn caused Evans to leave?

Maybe if Warne had been able to bring in a loan signing nearly every week like Evans did he might have kept us up.

So basically if Cardiff hadn't scored in the 88th minute 2 season ago meaning warne would have kept us in the championship you would class him as a success. Yet they did and he's a failure. So that 1 goal defines success and failure?

Gru wouldn't have classed him as a success if he'd kept us up, he would've changed the parameters of what he classed as success to suit his weird irrational hate fuelled agenda

"hate fuelled agenda" what a sweeping statement and accusation to make, he could just like to wind people up for his amusement. Not saying I agree with his comments or views at all, but where has he posted anything hateful? We live in a society where we use the emotions of "hate" and "anger" against people very quickly, to make ourselves feel superior to those people just because they share a different opinion to ourselves.

Or maybe both were funded the same.
Evans chose to use the funds in a different way or was able to find more valued players? I guess as grist always says. We will never know.

Then again. Check out the books to see what the budget was when Evans and warne were in charge. From memory I would say wanre got more cash to spend. Just saying
