    Gunn isn’t the Director of Football, he’s the Director of Football Operations, despite the club itself sometimes describing him as DoF. A different rôle from DOFs like 6 was when Caldo was manager, and Craig Brown was when McInnes was the manager.

    Gunn deals with administrative stuff (ken…) like contracts, travel, accommodation, compliance with UEFA, SFA, SPFL requirements etc.

    Like Ian Taggart or Jim Rust when the responsibilities were far simpler, and the job title was Club Secretary.
