    The proper way to unpeel a banana is from the end opposite the stalk. Banana fruits are roughly triangular in shape.

    After reading this fact years ago I always peel bananas that way now,monkeys also peel them that way proving they are smarter than most humans.

    Indeed. It also changed my perception when I discovered that a banana is in three segments.
