In fairness, I think FS meant "couldn't be any better" in comparison with other sites. Europe in general has far better train links than the U.K., where we locate our stadium ain't going to solve that problem.
Anybody who drives to Pittodrie knows it is terrible to get in and out of. Kingsford does have the advantage of being directly on two major roads.
Yes, traffic dispersion will be an issue on match days, but it can be done with temporary signals and traffic preferences. You simply cannot do that at Pittodrie due to the location.

A precedent has already been set with the new AECC in Dyce being built. Its a similar distance away from a junction on the AWPR as Kingsford is and you'll have 12,500 folk attending there for gigs.
