We got him for free but we should have and could sold him for a fee with him being under contract, this is a decent keeper we're on about here, its not a JMAC youtube signing, this is a tried and tested keeper with still plenty years left in him.

He didnt like the travelling, wasnt a case of didnt like it here.

Could have got a fee - instead of saying we'll keep him unless decent offer comes along we are broadcasting on website, open to any offers i.e we are desperate

There was no pressure to broadcast we wanted rid. While player himself and agent might secretly have wanted away to the papers he was saying he was ready to play for united - same obvious line united had to play if wanted a fee
