No easy way out but no real need for spfl to withold cash. Cant really blame my club for no fancying it as it moves the rules and gives us no chance of play off.
this just shows why the SFA have no bottle, no bottle to make a decision, was always easier for them to say 'ah well it was voted on'

So what exactly are Dundee trying to achieve with this?

Clearly they want to prevent us winning the championship, however, are they proposing a null and void season or League reconstruction?

A lot of clubs desperate for money are being prevented this lifelne by the fact that Dundee have withheld their vote

    From The Daily Record

It’s understood Nelms has come up with at least three different proposals of his own which he believes would be fairer and more cost effective than the SPFL plan.

One of them, however, recommends a freeze on promotion and relegation - a move which would see city rivals and runaway league leaders Dundee United blocked from promotion to the Premiership.

For thoses next door, - theres not one of us who didnt want to see this season out and win it in a 'normal' manner. We all wanted that especially being stuck in this sh1te league for so long. Due to the current World wide pandemic thats not possible. If we start up again in June, allow for training so effectively July, theres absolutely nae f ucking danger teams can finish this current season and then start another. Sky etc will simply not let that happen

So, really the SFA should grow some balls and decide whats going on, it shouldnt be for the clubs to decide and 'hold the aces'.

It's either end season now or reconstruction. Simple as that.

Agree would rather win it but would rather delay than null and void,

I think it can be done without losing or interference with any season,
Given the Qatar 2022 world Cup start in the month of Nov, leagues will have to close down for a period that season, just means countries get ahead with rejig of leagues, eg restart this one Sep and then run the new dates for next few seasons Mar to Oct

Winter shutdown, better weather, better crowds everyone wins

Player contract situations make this too complex. For instance, Alan Forrest has signed for Livi on a pre-contract and will join them in June.

Why can our governing body take more decisive action? How come “it has emerged” that clubs have 28 days according to league rules. When were those rules drawn up and given the circumstances who gives a **ck what the rules say. Nobody could have predicted this horrendous situation when they were written.

Surely our mob could have declared that rule doesn’t apply here....

    Idiotic!

exactly, so if the league gets extended what happens to this guys move? Does he remain at Ayr to help in playoffs or does he go to Livi? Is he eligible for Livi? Shambles.

Need to end the season now, one way or another

I don’t like Sutton but he’s hit the nail firmly on the head here
