I think Brophy might actually be the one, unless he has some desire to go down south and try his luck there. He would be the most obvious fit for us in terms of the type of striker he is. I'm not a massive fan, but I would venture to say he's a better all round player than Cosgrove. If we get cash for Cosgrove we might splash out a wee bit for a replacement i guess. If he's only got a year left maybe £250K would get him?

Yeah, i did mention in him in a list of possibilities in a previous post, but I'm not sure he's a McInnes type striker (although i can't really remember much about him to be fair when he played with Hibs)... if McInnes sticks with 1 up top he tends to favour someone with a bit of physicality - even though Brophy isn't that tall he does seem pretty strong and suited to the loan striker role. Who knows though!
