We were fitter by miles too and the Liverpool goals came mainly from set plays for MB dealt with the famed Liverpool high press well.
Hope the other teams think we will run out of steam like Souness does - be good to be underestimated.
Need to take 3 points of Fulham next game

awesome effort from the lads, couldnt be prouder of them 2bh, yeah there was a couple of errors but against liverpool you expect that, ref was garbage, the leeds goals were quality, it was with a brand new CB pairing with 1 lacking in experience generally and the other with no premier league experience, it was understandably gonna be hard to defend, but it took 2 penalties for liverpool to beat us, we will be absolutely fine this season, MOT!!!

think if White had to play his first game at Anfield?
think he's going to be very good if he gets to play regular minutes.
I think defenders need to start and get a long run in more than any position but Keep.

thought ref was OK other than his quickness to point to the spot. Might wanted to have checked the VAR on the hand ball. Hit his knee first.

Couldn't let a performance like that one go unnoticed. You can be very happy with your first game back. Keep that level up and you could be this season's Sheff U and in danger of a Euro spot. It is, however, a marathon, not a sprint but, apart from the result, it's a more than decent start. Well done.
