Do you add sauce if it is bacon and egg or sausage and egg or even suasage, bacon and egg ?

    Oh fit a conundrum
Sausage and bacon is a tricky one, it probably comes down to the quantity of each, how they're cooked, pork or beef sausage, how crisped the bacon is........probably call that a game-time decision.

When you throw an egg into the mix, it all comes down to the viscosity.

There's a sweet-spot in terms of how the egg is cooked for sandwich purposes.

Too runny, hooor of a mess......over done, nae use for a sanny.

And if that sweet spot is hit, there's nae need for sass.

The yolk does the heavy lifting in terms of liquid/meat binding...... and if the yolk is seasoned with just a soupçon of sa't, the flavour is in the books also.

    Affa fine.

Smartest thing said on here since... well, ever.

Regarding the scouts. I served. 1st Daviot/Oldmeldrum scout brigade. We used to get stones thrown at us from the youths in Daviot when we were out on a march.

Sorry, you're absolutely right. We used to do night hikes. Escape and evasion operations where we needed to get to different map coordinates without being caught by armed militia.

Well it maybe wasn't an armed militia, it could perhaps have been other scout leader volunteers now I think about it.

Did you swear allegiance to the queen?

Scouts opinions on sandwiches are null and void.

Mind you, I was in the Life Boys.

There was a lot of marching and stuff going on, so I might forgive you.

Yes. Always felt the BB was a bit hunnish . Flag waving , marching.pipe bands ?

I dont recall any chanting in the Cubs or Scouts. ? But we had to put our own tents up when we went camping. (Heard the BB didnt ? )

But neither organisation influenced my freewillto choose my own favourite sandwich. Weird it may be , but I prefer to view it as a mere unique sigh of my class , and taste. .

Anyway , when are we getting this thing back on topic ??? Transfers !!!!
