Well, what a week. Average score was 9.3 which is good as it’s been for a couple of seasons. Some great scores too, with 6 competitors in double figures and the top of the pile smelling sweet was NZBlue with a rare 16. He also got 10 out of 12 outcomes correct which is magnificent. Howoldboy did the same but got one fewer correct score so ended up with 14. Well done to the pair of you. Bottom of the dung-heap was Mullen with 4.

Of those players still present Chalky did best, up five places to 14th with a nice 12 points. Kel and Blackdogblue, our resident Rochdalians, both moved up three places too doing themselves no harm whatsoever. Going the other way Mullen drops three spots to 10th.

It’s even tighter at the top with a gap opening to 4th and a blanket over the top three. Still no need to panic though. A week or two like this and anyone can be up there.

16 points! Bloody hell well done NZblue and 14 would normally be a winning score for howoldboy,the high average score means that it could go anyway with posters upping their game but look at Mullen though,he only scored four points 😂

OK, this is a prediction competition, but who on earth could foresee six 2-2 draws this week? We also went heavy with the aways in group B but only one had the good grace to turn up. Consequently the scores were low with an average of only 3.9 - compare that with 9.3 last week.

Er, this week’s top-scorer was Chalky with 7. I’ll just let that sink in. He scored well last week as well, and jumps another 2 places to 11th. Chalky, imagine where you could have been if you hadn’t missed a few weeks. Southblue and Altobelli both only got 2s but no harm done.

Only other significant movements were Claw, up 2 and Coastlineblue down 2. It’s still tight at the top due to shoddy scoring up there so still all to play for.
