The selfish reason is because I've really enjoyed this competition, the combination of Notts County and finding the best odds is a hard one to beat for me. The second reason is that this competition has proved very popular, and it would be a pity for it to end prematurely after all the effort 60YAP has put in. I've got a couple of holidays before the season ends, so some of the updates might be a bit delayed because I've found it hard to do on my trusty old desktop, so I would stand no chance on my iPad.

I'll do my best to keep the YAP as a valuable currency on here!
    Nice one EP ...Thanks!

It's been an education. After swearing at a computer screen for most of the morning, I can now post an Excel file!

So here's my first attempt at an updated table after today's result. Well done to Florida Pie, not only were you the only one to correctly predict the score, you also made my first update fairly simple.

Unfortunately a bit of a black mark to Jaros for saving the penalty, and denying me the YAPs that would have seen me top the table!

ps any mistakes please let me know.

As I also went for 3-1 I am also disappointed. The annoying factor is that I was going to go for 3-0 and then thought this is 2022 Notts we always let one in. How things change. Perfect attempt on the first table well done!

Thanks for all the kind comments, fellow pies. I’m fine, thanks. I’ve re-located and won’t be able to attend any more games this season, so decided a clean break was the best way of coping with the expected withdrawal symptoms – hence dropping Notts Mad. Although in my mid-70s I still work full-time, and with the move as well didn’t think I’d have the time to continue with the Match Day Bet. I think, on reflection, dropping Notts Mad completely was a bit drastic. Thanks for taking over the reins EP. I like your layout for the odds. I think I’ll continue to make my prediction each game and see if I can go the whole season without forecasting a correct score. Good win today and it will be interesting to see how the Cal situation pans out.

Think I saw on another thread the Notts following for yesterday was 536, I predicted 533 so at at least must have been the closest on something...

Can I add my thanks and all the very best to you 60YAP (we mid-70s folk must stick together) for doing a great job and all the very best in your move...
