Could they risk a "late" bid.
Squad limited to 25(?) over 23's. They would need to make "space" first (as do we) or include player(s) in any deals.

Fingers crossed we can keep one or both and that we have a change of fortunes in back half of season that persuades them to change their minds ref the contracts

Topsy, it comes with the territory pal.....I have a favourite but he's been quiet of late with all his International flying.

It looks as if these signings have restored faith in a lot of fans. About time? Depends how you view who's come in and what Tony Stewart has laid down in order to support Matt Taylor. You have to say, we have improved since these players come in, you can't argue with that.

Still don't think we've finished so, hold onto your seat and enjoy the 18 game run in......

It might be a coincidence but a couple of weeks back I got an email from someone in South Yorkshire who claimed I they had uncovered a long lost fortune belonging to me. I dutifully provided them with my bank details etc. only to find out a few days later that my life savings/pension etc. had been cleaned out. I know you think I might have fallen for the old 'Nigerian' scam but I'm pretty sure this was legitimate. It was signed Honest Tony!

He can break the recording now of his normal comment, " We have learnt our lesson ", each time we were
relegated from the championship, back into league one.
Maybe concerned about the length of the contract, 3.5yrs for a 30yr old player, but when you see Billy Sharp
at Sheffield United still scoring goals at 36yrs of age [37yrs on 5th Feb], we have to hope Hugill can get the
goals, & maybe the length of the contract was a condition of him signing for us.
Hope he can do a ' John Galley ' & get a hat-trick in his first game.
Can't compare him to Billy sharp as he was scoring plenty of goals before he got old. Hugill can't be discribed as prolific. To me, from what I e read and watched he's more of a shorter version of smith.

Think I read somewhere that Warney is now managing Derby. Could just be a ****ter rumour....

Yes they may take that view but it will only be via the Play-Offs.That can be anyone's to win and IF they do go up Barlaser and Ogbene are not Premier League players. Why isn't there interest or speculation for Rathbone now....our stand out performer? Because he has got 18 months to go.Have these 'big' clubs got as much to spend as you think?

Clubs don't pay cash up front these days.
They pay on the knocker / hp / installments over a period of time. Have done for quite some time.
Same with compo for sacked managers.
Some clubs keep them on the payroll and continue to pay them until they find another club
Not everything in football is as straightforward as it seems.
