The Baggies are in talks with first-team defender Erik Pieters over a new deal, while goalkeeper Ted Cann has earned a one-year extension to his current contract, which now runs until June 2024.

PL2 quartet Jamie Andrews, Mo Faal, Aaron Harper-Bailey and Brad Foster, as well as second-year scholars Fenton Heard, Akeel Higgins, Layton Love and Narel Phillips, have all received offers to remain with the club.
But three senior players will be leaving The Hawthorns this summer.

Long-serving club captain Jake Livermore departs following six-and-a-half years in B71, and he said goodbye to Baggies fans earlier this month via an open letter.

Tom Rogic and Kean Bryan are also leaving the football club.

Former Celtic midfielder Rogic, who signed in September 2022, exits having scored twice in 23 games across all competitions last season and Bryan departs after making three appearances in two years at The Hawthorns.

Youngsters Quevin Castro, Rico Richards, Ramello Mitchell, Cianole Nguepissi, Sammy Okoka, Sam Oluwatobi, Beau Hudd, Tobias Hurlock, Femi Olofinjana, Archie Oliver and Jesse Wangusi are also set to leave the Baggies when their current contracts expire.

The club would like to thank all departing players for their efforts during their time at The Hawthorns and wishes them every success in the future.

Prince Henry released. Is that so he can spend more time with Meghan?

Goalkeeper Luke Daniels and defender Darnell Fisher, who made his first appearance in almost two years in the final league game of the season after a lengthy injury, are both set to depart.

And they are joined by Grant Hall and Joe Lumley, who spent last season on loan at Rotherham United and Reading respectively.

Also free to move on elsewhere are Isiah Cornet, Joe Ridley, Oliver Swan, and Alfie Doherty, along with scholars Louie Evans, Ash MacCarthy, and Tylah Wallace-Ming.

Contract extensions have been offered to Jeremy Sivi and Isaac Fletcher, while Fenton John, Henry Popple, and Nathan Simpson will all step up as first-year professionals.

In addition, the loans of Cameron Archer, Ryan Giles, Alex Mowatt, Rodrigo Muniz, Aaron Ramsey and Zack Steffen have all come to an end.

*** Fisher only played 13 times in 2.5 years. Had a long term injury that kept him out for a full season. Is he worth risking. Think it was a forgone conclusion Hall was to be released.

....1st clue was when we had him on loan and there wasn't any January recall options.......he was ok in the air, but like an Oil tanker on the turn, remember the penalty he gave away at Blackburn?

I’d like Hall to have signed for us depending on injury news but with the others being offered contracts I’m not sure we should

The club are also in discussions with Blackett as well.I think it's pretty clear that MT wants Hall,Morrison and Blackett along with Humphreys as the centre half options next season. That looks great on paper but can they be trusted to stay fit?

Hall was a good player, Fisher thought he was.
The lad Aasgard at Wigan looked decent, bad haircut though.

    Burnley

Eight years after a move from Aston Villa, Matt Lowton will leave the club at the end of his current contract.

The right back made 203 appearances for Burnley over seven seasons, helping the Clarets secure a return to European football for the first time in 51 years in 2018.

Of his three goals for the Club, Clarets fans will remember a stunning volley in Burnley’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in February 2021.

We can also confirm that Goalkeeper Will Norris will leave the Club at the end of his current contract.

Having joined from Wolves in the summer of 2020, Norris made three appearances for the Clarets before a loan move to Peterborough United in January this year.

Goalkeeper Lukas Jensen will also depart Turf Moor upon his contract expiry at the end of this month.

Jensen joined the Clarets in the summer of 2019, becoming a regular in the Academy’s U23s side and featured on the bench for the senior team in the Premier League’s Project Restart the following year.

The 24-year-old has spent the past season on loan at Accrington Stanley, making 35 appearances.

At the Academy, U21s Frankie Deane, Joe McGlynn, Ayodeji Sotona, Lewis Thomas, Seb Thompson, Ne-Jai Tucker, Jacson Coppack, Keelan Williams, Jacob Hamilton, Dane McCullough, Kade Ratchford and U18s Nathan James, Trevon Bryan, Tosin Olopade are also set to embark on new chapters in their careers this summer.
