Journalistic drivel is right, including Phil hay, they are all just making it up.
A financial expert today commented that all 60 or so investors involved in the American consortium would have to have an individual background check.
Happy Christmas folks.
I said, having processed a number of similar transactions myself, but I also said they due diligence had to be submitted and audit trails clear.
The fact that the 49's seem to be adding people to the board room is probably delaying things as additional paperwork will be required e.g. updated signatory lists for 1.
What we don't know is how much admin work the EFL had from other clubs prior to Leeds submission.
Most reputable companies have a sla (Service level agreement) of 10 working days (without any prior back logs).
Never said anything different FTW, only that;
1. We have no idea as to how many individuals wiĺ require "validation"
2. None of the 49-ers will have been subject to the EFL process previously because until very recently they weren't ownership candidates, just minority shareholders. Adding board members is irrelevant, all investors have to pass muster.
3. LUFC failed to submit details of all nominated individuals until well after we knew we were relegated
4. The EFL don't publish SLAs for any of their work (Why would they?)
We are at the mercy of 3rd party who have a record of f00king us over and yet have done nothing to minimise the possibility of that being done to us. Boy scouts could do better.
Not sure there is any point in this or the "Freebies" or "Takeover Imminent" threads having any further contributions because until the EFL announce their decision regarding 49-ers Enterprises acquisition of the majority shareholding, all else is just more hot air, signifying the square foot of f00k all.
Unless and until they (the EFL) give their thumbs up, LUFC is owned by Radrizzani, controlled by Radrizzani and subject whatever he decides to do, or not do, and there is f00k all the 49-er Enterprises or anyone else big or small can do about it.
As said in another thread (I think), Radrizzani makes Ridsdale look like a (flawed) saint and Bates like the god we all hope for. I hope he and his family end up paupers and Sampdoria in whatever the Italian equivalent of the Northern Pub League might be
Not true the status quo is 46% already owned by 49ers - again don’t let the facts get in the way of spouting bile though.
Radz played hard ball to get the buyout he wanted so it delayed things - the EFL are just taking time - how do you know what is lined up in the background once that approval comes through? - oh you don’t.
Won't reply to much of what you post, it's just not worth it, but this? "Bile"? Not bile, I state facts when it comes to the 49E acquisition, those I know and those in the public domain, not hopeless aspirations from those who simply cannot, or will not, see how LUFC have been manipulated by an owner who makes all previous owners look like saints.
Radrizanni could have played "hard ball" behind the scenes during the run up to seasons end, knowing that relegation was a possibility (it ALWAYS IS!), agreed a valuation with 49E and waited until the season was over, then on that very same day announced a deal and had the necessary details submitted to the EFL for validation. He didn't. He and 49E f00ked about for another two weeks before his "hard ball" negotiations concluded, time that means any incoming owner, manager, coach, staff, players etc have even less time to prepare for a season that might just determine the future of LUFC, but hey, let's not let facts get in the way of a crack at me, hmmm?
You're a sh1t, and a first class one at that, hence my reluctance to reply to any of your posts, I'll make an exception on this occasion simply because you're so wide of the mark a reply was necessary.
