Selling Crowley to MK Dons would be a mistake unless they’re offering silly money - as you say, you don’t strengthen a rival if you’re aiming to get promoted. It’s clear that SM has built the team around Crowley - unless there’s a proven like-for-like replacement, it would be a very risky move at this stage.

We’re obviously doing something right when other teams are looking to sign our players, but that does bring fresh challenges - the kind we’ve never really had to face at Notts before.

Selling Langstaff for a fee was inevitable.

Selling Nemane for a fee was a bonus.

Selling Crowley would require new owners silly money.

Would of thought he will be sold by tonight so they can register him to play tomorrow, only a thought.

Has anyone considered that he might want to move?

It wasn't so long ago that we would have been happy for any sort of fee for any player on the books

The fact that we now have players (and managers) that attract attention from teams higher up the pyramid is a sign of good ownership IMO.

I'd be disappointed if we lost Crowley in this window. I wouldn't pi55 my pants over it though, he was the replacement for RR who we thought was irreplaceable.

We are Notts County, we move on.

Only Notts fans could judge signing players for peanuts and selling them for big buck as a negative!

Yes how stupid of them to see the prospect of flogging our best player to a league rival at the back end of the transfer window as a negative. After flogging our former best player a few weeks ago.

We all get a share of the money raised after all!

The money will go back into the playing squad to make it stronger overall and the current squad looks more equipped for promotion push than this time last season. Yes we may lose some individual talent but Crowley and Nemane in particular were part of team that couldn't defend.

Yes I have as its a move back down South and likely a pay increase too.

Not great for us if it happens though we can dress it up but if we dont find gems to come in we are going one way.
