Aye, because players will come to Aberdeen for £3k per week, when they can move to England for double or treble that, and in all likelihood if it's the Championship, to a training facility that's at least the equal of ours.
It's utter delusion from someone who has no clue about his clubs fan base (the comments about a strong "Rangers" are the prime example).

That's why all the talk of McInnes should he stay or should he go is pointless.
    1) Not an earthly Milne will sack him
    2) Even if/when he ever does, the chances of him attracting a manager that would change things are remote.

McInnes will likely be here until the Shuttle bus Arena is built.
    Then Milne might step down
IF Cormack then takes over, then, and only then, is there a chance that DM will be gone.
Couldn’t agree with you more rst.

I don’t think Cormack would put up with results like yesterday as much as Milne does.

If we'd had our best team out and hadn't gone down to ten, then nine men and still failed to get a shot on target maybe, but I don't think any chairman, with the exception of someone like Romanov, would sack their manager on the back of yesterday's result. He'd probably sympathise to be honest.

The Motherwell semi, well that's a different matter. He maybe wouldn't put up with a failure to get into Europe, but only maybe. I don't know what's in Cormack's mind. He, like most of the pundits don't seem to share the view that McInnes is a thick hun c**t who has failed abjectly time and time again. Be interesting to be a fly on the wall in his office just to see what he really thinks.

It's just speculation, but I think he'd look at our cup performances and think we got close...not a sacking offence. If he does happen to share the view that we are massively underachieving or on a downward trajectory with no chance of it being turned round, him having hold of the reins may well be the only chance of McInnes leaving the club...

That statement at the start of the season, that we wouldn't(without DNA) be able to afford Wilson seems almost grotesque now.
Still, if Wilson moved to Killie ,I'm sure they would get him playing like a superstar. Likewise if Stewart returns there .
    Says it all really.

got to laugh at the continual McInnes bashing day in day oot from the same dullards.

Fact is the problem is not so much McInnes, but Milne.
McInnes has been good for Aberdeen, time up it could easily be. Problem is the Bricklayer will not sack him.
Only if McInnes leaves will we see a new manager, and under the Brickie that is not something I would look forward too.
He got lucky with McInnes, but by and large his choices have been dire.
Milne IS the man we need to get tae ****, until then the last 5-6 years are as good as it gets.
