4-1 now. Croatia were by far the better team for 60 minutes. Now I’m afraid the dam has broke. Well done to France, but Croatia should not feel ashamed of how they’ve played.

Some hope for Croatia. Mandzukic’s hard work pays off with a goal. Lloris will hope that doens’t become a significant moment. Real howler.

Really feel for Croatia. They’ve thoroughly outplayed France IMO. Two lucky moments have afforded France a lead, and the third goal - which was a great goal - means that the game now has to be played exactly how France want it to. Croatia will have to push for two goals and France will be able to break time after time. Think the score line will not look flattering to Croatia.

A gift of a goal for Croatia, what the hell was Lloris doing there? calamity or what, trying to be too clever. At least Mandzukic has scored at the right end now!

The first two goals for France leaves a bitter taste, but i can't take nothing away for the last two. Croatia have played their part in this final that's for sure. Decisions have gone against them, but they have kept at it. It just wasn't enough.

Croatia played their best game of the knockout stage today IMO. And lost by two goals.

France, despite having by far the most talented team in the whole tournament, played open for a total of 15 minutes this entire World Cup - and won the whole thing.

I can't believe the football league season is already upon us, it's gone quick with having the world cup to watch. It seems a bit strange knowing that tonight and tomorrow the championship and the rest of the football league kick off and Wolves are now in a division above. I will still try and watch some of the championship games over the course of the season though.

Derby with a good start to their season with a road win. Frank Lampard opens his coaching career with 3 points

Bodvarsson had numerous chances to score in the first half for Reading, but got one in the second. Derby will be happy with the win and three points though.
