Totally agree. How many Scotland teams in the past have went away to teams like Serbia,Slovakia and Israel and taken the game to them?

I agree Clarke has done a great job but we're not as good as some are making us out to be. The positive is I think we will get better with more games. Not sure how many more he'll have with the squad before June.

Watching both the games v Slovakia and Israel we have had loads of chances but i just never felt confident we would score any of them as time progressed.

I don't know anybody with any expectations with Scotland It's always a case just let's see what happens.

The draw for the World Cup qualifiers is in 3 or so weeks ithink with games in March.

Had Serbia not missed their penalty Clarke would be applying for the Accies job. He might be better than a previous bad bunch but his main attribute on Thursday was luck. Extra time was handed to Serbia when he removed McGinn, Dykes & Christie in favour of McBurnie, McLean & Paterson. Not the work of a genius.

Don't agree. Performances have been night & day from before his time. He has the players working as a team and playing for the jersey. Guys want to play for Scotland now as he's installed that feel good factor. The last two performances have dipped, but after the highs of last week and the mantal drain that had on the players, plus the partying afterwards, I half expected it.

Isn't it desperately sad tho that prior to Clarke the players weren't playing for the jersey? A sign of the times I guess.
