I agree, why accept this p!sh when we realistically know we are going backwards now under McInnes.
Evidence: your dreamy last seasons record points when we won nothing to the demise of this season that will produce less points, further down the league and most likely no trophies again.

    Ok. You win, we’re ****e.
No point in playing, no point in going to watch.
No point in debating in forums.

See ya........., meanwhile, I’ll continue taking all the positives I can in each and every game.

May had a great opportunity when we pressed them high and if he managed to get it through Ajer’s legs, I reckon he would have beat De Vries.
Our most likely attacks was from set plays and unfortunately none of them really troubled De Vries either.

We could have gone gun hoe on them, but then left lots of space for them to pick their way through us.
I thought we were very effective in stopping Celtic play through our lines.
Defensive errors led to their best chances in the first half.
Second half Celtic had far less opportunity.

It’s possible that time was a tactic from DM following Celtics trip and looking to benefit later in the game as tiredness grew more.
How May and McGinn didn’t score I don’t know.
We obviously look at the game differently mate. I seen us start a match sitting off Celtic and letting them dictate the play. We didn’t score a goal so we were never going to win the match. This team of ours can’t stop Celtic from scoring so we are always up against it by sitting in.
Your enthusiasm for Del’s tactics is certainly worth noting though.

Have a nice evening. Sweet dreams about Del’s masterclass in tactics.

    Night night.
It’s all part of the enjoyment of football analysing any teams / managers tactics and how they work.
How they manipulate the ball and pull players into positions they don’t want to go into.
It can make the most boring 0-0 game to some, fascinating to analyse.

Luckily when Derek McInnes comes up against the good teams your guaranteed goals unfortunately the majority will be for the opposition !!!

    Not at all.
You can apply for any team.
You can also see different areas and components that work regardless of the result.

I prefer looking at the tactics, system and goals scored to analyse how we played. Us having a big fat zero for goals scored and Celtic having two means we failed at getting the 3 points needed.
Some people though get excited about the headers we won and the system we might have looked like playing when their goalkeeper (yes goalkeeper) had the ball at his feet.
    Easily pleased comes to mind.

The bottom line is that Hearts showed how to beat (& hammer) Celtic.
    They were the template.
    Press high, harass, be physical.

    We were the polar opposite.

    No excuses.

Tactically, he got it badly wrong. Again.

And more worryingly, he’s not seeing anything wrong in his tactics, so expect more of the same next time.
    The definition of insanity...
