Credit where it's due, the team (and maybe even the manager) turned it around at half time.
We looked to be out of ideas again when we went in at half time. Livvy looked they had the measure of us, same as St. J had on Saturday.
We were nervous on the ball in the first half, especially at the back and we should have done better with both the goals we conceded.
Second half was as if someone had laced the oranges at HT and we came out of the traps full speed.
Great performance and deserved win in the end, even if we had to wait till the last kick to get it.
What a fvcking goal to wait for though. Ferguson is turning out to be a star for us which is amazing considering that he is only19. Great player, and is already my favourite player in the team right now.
So a good boost after a very deflating Saturday, let's keep this going and get at it from the start of the game, instead of waiting to go behind before we kick on.
I remember as a kid watching Fergie's great teams and my old man used to say that we didn't start playing till we went a goal behind. Unfortunately we are nowhere near good enough to be giving other teams a goal of a start anymore, so let's try and cut the mistakes out as well as playing with more purpose early on, before that happens.
