When DFCSS ran the club, they took DFCTV and its revenues for themselves, to use for their own purposes including sending directors on jollies to supporters direct(?) meetings, although no doubt a few quid was given back to the club. To still be claiming that as legitimate, seriously? I wish that awful period could be expunged from history. How much are DFCSS still sitting on?

Yes, I would cost money that they’d rather spend on a supporters conference[/QUOTE]

Not sure the society sends anyone to those conferences now. I believe the only expenses claimed were fair, valid and justifiable ones when they did.

The DFCSS personnel that ran the club are long gone. Supporters direct meetings were expensed, should the club board member who went to represent the club's supporters have paid for the trips from his own pocket? If our current CEO goes on a trip to another club on business should he pay his own travel? Who's actually paying for any club expensed trip? If your work asked you to go to a conference in Glasgow would they pay your travelling expenses and meals etc? If they didn't would you go? No doubt SD seemed a worthwhile thing at the time to the people running the club. We now have a board that seemingly don't care about the fans in any way - what's better?

I'm not going into what I know to have been given to the club but it was a good bit more than 'a few quid'.

I thought the plaque was a great idea but it fell by the wayside.
Because I still think some who are involved want a fan run club.

Plenty been members from the start, I'm sure there are some in and amongst it.

A couple post on Pravda actually.

Are you saying no members have the hankering for the blazer days?

I'd be astonished if that was true.

The main key for me is the shares held by DFCSS, it gives the supporters a lever in any proposed sellout or takeover.

The figures are available online, about £34k net. Go to dee4life website. I thought DFCSS was the group that took the club out of administration and as such are to revered by the fan base.
