We have all spoken to people with these views, seen them clearly on programs like Question Time, read what they say on websites etc etc.

My uncle at El Alhamein captured scores of Italian cowards and witnessed Spanish neutrals suffering under the Franco dictatorship. That my friend is less than 75 years ago and I see no signs whatsoever of these particular leopards changing their spots.

And I can concur with what you said about the French turning on each other, when we were living in France I read a lot about the resistance, and our neighbours had some hair-raising stories to tell about what had happened locally. I haven't got the figures but I read, and was told many times, that more Frenchmen were killed by their countrymen, during the in-fighting after the war, than were actually killed by the Germans in the entire occupation.

I am claiming (by my own obsevations) that racists and Little Englanders tend to be Brexiteers.
I am not saying that all Brexiteers, by a large margin, are racists and Little Englanders.
Do you see the difference?

I could say that "Most people from Rawtenstall are Burnley fans." (I'm not saying that by the way!)
By your logic I could be accused of saying "Most Burnley fans live in Rawtenstall"

And having a downer on foreigners due to their behaviour in WW2 is simply wrong.
Most people have thankfully moved on.

I have no idea how many people who voted to leave are racist, (although I admit I don't possess your remarkable powers of clairvoyance), and neither have you, I have no idea how many people who voted to remain are racist, and neither have you, but I'm quite content to let the police deal with them, whether they think we should be a self-governing nation or a vassal state in the EU.

And again I don't really know what you mean by Little Englander, perhaps you could explain ? Is it that you think there is something wrong with being English and proud of it, is that it ? if not what is it ? What is one of these Little Englanders that you Remoaners are so fixated on ?

but......Nationalism was thought ok when Remainers campaigned with "Scotland Stronger In Europe"...was the same with Wales...but we in England were pinned back with "Britain stronger in Europe"....so the remainers were ok with fuelling the divide to suit them....but backward of them to call out Englishness when it was they that determined to shrink Britain....byt still, no fear of being labeled Little Scotlanders/Welshtirs - as for them, is seemingly all well and good - as long as your in the phook England - E.U Nationalist remain camp !

Why must everything come back to racism half the problems in this country are created with the terminology you are using and alluding to.

I find it infuriating when an argument - discussion just isn’t going the way people want it.

I know we’ll throw the race card in.

Maybe just maybe if people voted leave based on immigration ( which is why your calling them racist ) that they genuinely believe there is a problem with our immigration.
