    SNP founder had Nazi connections.

Logo looks suspect to this day.

Well it was in the Express so of course it's completely true, let's not talk about the fact that half the English parliament were Nazi sympathisers and wanted a deal with Hitler.

No evidence was ever produced and Donaldson was never charged.

The SNP were considered a subversive organisation at the time by the UK government. Their right to seek what was our nations right was batted down by Westminster even back then.

My take on Westminster is that the Scottish electorate were told in 2014 that the result would last a generation. I don't see the overwhelming polls that put independence as the settled will of the Scottish population. There's a difference between voting for the SNP and voting for independence.

Unfortunately the word 'generation' doesn't actually refer to a period of time but to a number of individuals so they made a right rip roaring Jim Delahunt of it by using that term in the first place.

100% agree that there is a difference between voting for independence and voting SNP. Right now I am a supporter of independence but can't see myself voting for an SNP headed by Sturgeon. I'm looking for a viable alternative to the SNP that will support and strive for independence for the nation of Scotland but can't see one so no votes at all from me I'm afraid.

There was never an overwhelming support for a brexit referendum, it was agreed to have one to resolve a dispute in the tory party. In the end, it was 52% against 48% with 62% against in Scotland. Now the Scottish seafood industry is suffering badly, with exports down 83%, similar high numbers for farming exports. Brexit has been a total disaster which isn't a surprise.

Donaldson was targeted because he argued against Scottish workers being sent to England against their will. That type of thing was called forced labour elsewhere in Europe at the time.
