This is terrible!!! They have gotten worse under Burchnall, he experiments every game, plays our best creative player in defence then blames him and drops him!!! Boldewijn will leave and who would blame him. Wootton is ineffective , knight started well but looks ****e now , we sign promising players and make them rubbish. God I'm so fed up, I've payed for nearly every game home and away but no more!!! These Muppets do not deserve my money!!

From the first game against Dover away in too many games we have lacked the energy, aggression, desire and ruthlessness to kill teams off and that's enabled the opposition to grow in confidence as the game has gone on. It will likely be the same until the end now as the dye is cast. That's going to be the biggest challenge for the new coaches to try and find that within the players they've got.
Funny you mention Dover, actually. I was worried from the post-match when Ardley said the ‘boys were five minutes away from a well earned 0-0 on the road’. Everyone knew by that point that they were a shambles and that any team with designs on promotion should be ruthlessly beating them - we’ve carried that mentality with us all season.

I don’t think IB was moaning about teams using long throws btw - more our inability to defend them properly. Which seems fair enough.

Yes we all knew that this season we should have gone up a level to be the ones to hit the ground running. Some people say you can't judge a team straight away but it has transpired that the warning signs that were there then and in the pre-season game against York that we have a knack of making other teams look more 'up for it' or we allow them to grow into the game or play their game instead of imposing our game and style on them throughout.

Dover should have been a Bradford 5-0 at home in the Munto season if we were going to be the real deal and serious title challenges this season.

It certainly should, because absolutely everything was in our favour. It was explained away by some that "the grass was too long", or "there are often freak results on opening day". We were bloody lucky that it didn't count in the end.

You are right of course!! That's the most depressing part about it. Modern footballers don't give a damn they just walk away for their new club and pay day.

I agree - but if he has seen the danger they cause, why not use them ourselves - not necessarily all the time but more than once a game. Ellis looked better than Rawlinson I thought but was taken off, so a goal threat being lost when we were losing.

This team is utterly flawed on so many levels I don't know where to begin. I think half of them have one eye on their contract being up and think they are good enough for a league club to come in!!! - yeah, good luck with that one!!

Groundhog day, swapped one loser for another. Put the club up for sale, these Danes are as clueless as Ardley and Burchall

Makes you wonder what the Danes must be thinking at this moment in time. Did no one warn them of the 'curse'?
