So you don't want your kids and grandkids to be on a minimum of £15 ph then. Have you told them that? I wish my kids were on that personally.

I think the point Crash is making is that they won't be on £15/hr as it's unsustainable.

The point is they won't be on £15 as it's not Labour policy. It's a Daily Mail headline.

Another Brexit-type exaggeration? I don't doubt Johnson will milk this for all it's worth, just like the Big Red Bus myth. And the gullible will echo it as though they know what they are talking about.

...and yet you are happy for the idle rich like the royals to be on the rates they are maybe? Lets have a bit o wealth distribution and make it fair. The system can work if greed dunt rule...invest in people not in big business. They have more than enough...that is the common sense bit...

Not at all. All I'm saying is the govt should invest in small businesses big business can look after itself or it should be able to if run properly.Give employers and employees a leg up.

Back on topic. Here in the US there are 100s of container ships sitting out in the Pacific off the west coast awaiting unloading. The backlog is partially due to lack of dock workers and partially due to lack of lorry drivers. As each ship holds 10,000-20,000 containers that's a lot of stuff and the backlog isn't expected to be cleared until well into 2022. I assume people will be complaining they can't get their new iPhone
