A Mick Waitt special. Garry Lund was slow but by god he was a tidy forward. Lets see how he does at Stockport. My guess he will be back in the NL
It doesn't matter what he does at Stockport he did ok for us. Yes Langstaffe is much better but to call him a donkey is ridiculous.

If I think he was a donkey, then he was a donkey. That's my opinion of him, didn't rate him. Your entitled to yours of him.

It's easy to call names irishpete and seems childish of you.
You could argue he's the best striker Notts County have had in the past ten tears!

I would argue that. None of our strikers have got near 19 in a season since Lee Hughes got 30. Stead and Hemmings both managed 14 and Dennis imo was never really given the chance but I think he might have scored more than 14

If he was a donkey then I don’t know what words you could use to describe the majority of our strikers in the last 25 years. 3rd top goalscorer last season doesn’t qualify for donkey status in my opinion.
In Langstaff we’ve found an out and out goalscorer who, I really hope, will become a club legend.
I wish Wootton a successful career but onwards and hopefully upwards!

It's a very good point well made.
