I think the hold-up Is me Guilty as they are processing my savings account and having difficulty locating any money. I have assured them my pension goes in fortnightly and the next one is due shortly.

I appreciate that we would all want things to be somewhat different to what they are, but.........

The 49-ers Enterprises own 46% of an asset which is rapidly diminishing in value (the biggest drop in value obviously being as a result of relegation), that's never been a matter of argument. What can they do without the approval/co-operation of the majority shareholder? Not a f00king thing. They can't hire on behalf of LUFC (the chap from Norwich has been hired by 49E, not LUFC), they can't enter into contracts on behalf of LUFC (and let's not forget, it's LUFC that is affiliated with the EFL, NOT the 49-ers Enterprises), nothing, so those who suggest I'm wrong about what 49E can and can't do are blowing out their arses. I may not have any "youth development" experience (something WS was happy to point out and which point I agree with him on), but I know commercial contracts law like the back of my hand and what I'm saying is correct.

The evaluation carried out by the footballing authorities was undertaken by the FA, as the major 49E investment occurred after we were promoted to the PL. It may be that the EFL will take note of anything the FA might have to report or contribute regarding those on board with the 46% investment, but they have no legal duty to do so (and lets not forget, any evaluation undertaken by any organisation up to the most recent announcement of the agreed takeover figure wasn't for ownership, simply a stakeholding, very different criteria would apply). The DO have a legal duty to ensure that all 49E investors who are part of the particular consortium that wishes to acquire the remaining LUFC shareholding are able to pass whatever evaluation they apply to such people.

As I say, I wish it wasn't so, but it is, and all the wishful thinking in the world won't change that.

Apologies if this sounds stupid, but with the EFL delay in rubber stamping the 49ers takeover etc, surely Radz must still be the " legal " owner of the club. its a pity, maybe not possible, that some kind of arrangement for player transfers ( in ) couldnt have been in place in the interim period of the club takeover. Maybe life just isnt that simple.

Yes he is (the current owner). An interim arrangement would only work if there was a "TUPE"-type transfer of contract conditions from current to new owner. There isn't, and developing and implementing one would take longer than waiting for the EFL to give their go-ahead.

And it wasn't a stupid suggestion at all, just beyond the collective capabilities of the "interested parties" who were/are too selfish to think that far out of the box.

Ha ha Oz - just it does seem like Groundhog Day.

However, the acronym should consider a job in professional football social media given his ‘ability’ to divine knowledge and insight from nothing.

Not sure as to the background but sure he knows little about the law (not least football regulation, player contracts or corporate finance) and seems to have little understanding by of how businesses actually work.

Hardly, surprising that many who do no longer post (such as Mrs O) as if he can’t respond factually he reverts to name calling and insults .
Shame he didn’t stick to his promise never to post again but in line with various other things he says coherence and sticking to them had never been a strong suit.

Maybe he taught Matt Hancock how to pivot in the face of overwhelming facts stacking up against you.

Is it great the EFL haven’t ratified the deal - no

Is it completely Radz’s fault - No he wanted more money and got it and we don’t know what the discussions actually were

Do the 49ers have some responsibility - possibly in that they didn’t prepare for a relegation scenario but who knows what the talks behind the scenes are
Is it all doom and gloom - it’s not great but far from disaster. Farke seems to be waiting in the wings. Seems to have been lots of activity behind the scenes lining up player exits and possible signings.

Is it plain sailing - No but it never is with Leeds

What will happen next season - who knows but we may as well chill as there is very little we can do about it.

Hey ho - hope all is well with you in that Aussie winter season.

Winter for me is bad as the prices have hiked up so much can't afford heating and spend more time in bed than should be.
Glad the football is more summer weather and I can get up otherwise ID have to give it a miss. Your right nothing we can do about anything Leeds and like financial situations around the world nowadays what ever you have is it nothing we can do about it.
I do believe the managerial positions have been filled as I said a couple of weeks ago with Farke and the Norwich Dorf who can't start till his contract runs out hence why they brought in a Temp Dorf.
What I hate is consant dribble links for more deadwood when we have capable 19 20 21 22-year-olds in the squad to make a decent team out of they just need time to gel. In Hedje Gray Joseph and the like we have the talent they just need to play.
That is why I also preferred a young Manager as they tend to get the best out of younger players, not the Farke-like who will revert to the same old dross.
Like you said waiting game and hope for the best.

Ah hope it warms up for you a bit then and yup just have to see how things pan out.

It would seem a little odd if the 49ers having paid out 170m for the club had not been confident of meeting the OADT and weren’t planning away on the background.

Various sources suggested that they have been given an in principle green light just seems the confirmation is taking forever.

Hey ho - par for the course with Leeds and the EFL I guess.

Even the much vaunted, and promoted, Mr Hay would appear to be coming round to the recognition that Radrizzani and those who represent 49E could have acted like adults and recognised that with relegation a very real possibility, a new "negotiation" was required (and NOT a couple of weeks after the last game of the season!).

Shame our soon-to-be-forgotten ex-owner and his minority shareholder "friends" couldn't have woken up and smelt the coffee a little sooner
