The point I thought that was interesting was that the IPCC are talking about tropical peatland.

The Greens are anti business and pro independence. Patrick Harvie leader of the Scottish Greens has double standards as far as Net Zero is concerned.
The ALba former MPs and MSPs assuming that they still have some MSPs are only interested in one thing. Scotland becoming an independent country despite the ‘once in a generation’ Scottish independence referendum in September 2014 resulting in a 55.3% vote in favour of Scotland remaining part of the U.K.
Define what a generation is. Not in your own made up terms but in real terms.

I'll give you a skiffy, it isn't a period of time.

Oh noooooo! Not this again. Depends on the context, imo. In human terms my children are my next generation, and their children will be their next generation.

In my opinion a generation is normally 20 to 25 years but according to an email I received from Michael Russell the Scottish Government Cabinet minister for Education and Life Long Learning a generation can be as little as four years in length.

Wots the point of a second referendum, these politicians have got to stop dividing people, some aren't over the first referendum yet. Wot does the NO camp get for winning a second time, money in the bank for everyone who votes NO. Wot if the YES camp equalised and makes it 1-1, do we have a neverendum. It's utterly pointless, let's forget about dividing people and actually try and bring them together.

Once again your opinion is miles off the truth. In fairness so is the opinion of Michael Russell.

For once I don't think he's that far off the mark, though I do think that sudden sociological and technological shifts will reduce the traditionally held number gong forward when it's tended to get bigger for the last 400 years.

The last 5 named and defined generations have been around 19, 15, 15, 15 years and ongoing since 2012ish which means we'll probably see a new one in next 2/3 years.

Michael Russell though is a blether at 4
