This man never was right for the job and that was clearly evident last season. Listening to him spout drivel tonight just confirms that. He is deluded and did nothing but praise the players. He must be watching a completely different game to the vast majority of us.

He?s only ever praised the players win, lose or draw. He probably can?t believe he?s even working with professional footballers. Hardly likely to criticise people hes never rubbed shoulders in the game with, is he?

Herein lies the problem. A decent coach he may turn out to be (and I hope he does).

But as the main man at a club as big as ours? Absolutely not. A failed experiment the Bros must take full responsibility for. A few called it this time last year he wasn?t the man, a year later and a year wasted - here we are again.

IIRC my start-of-season expectations were @6th so to be in 4th I absolutely will not be calling for the head coach's head.

I understand and share the frustration with recent performances though.

The situation with the Saunders bros still needs explaining, but it’s definitely left Maynard looking rather isolated. And who knows how much input Montague had behind the scenes.

We had a whole load of fairly average home performances up until Bradford and then we were good for a bit, but not anymore.

The fact is weve only ever shown up really when we had Didzy and Crowley available. And JJ right at the start of the season.

No chance are we going up. The players look like they're playing the season out. There's no energy or fight and little creativity. Our current form is likely to see us lose touch with automatic and if we manage to stay in the playoffs, there's no way this team has the desire to get us over the line.

Maynard tries the same approach again and again when it's clear it needs a change. Our form at ML this season has been dreadful. Visiting teams know exactly what to do, yet Maynard can't mix it up. He's a failed experiment and he's looking increasingly out of his depth on the touchline.

We will be league two next season.
Maynard was a poor appointment that should have been removed as soon as last season finished and neither he or Montague should have had anything to do with this season.

The annoying thing is that automatic promotion was there for the taking as the quality is not there this season in the division

This endless passing side to side at snails pace infront of a deep set 5-4-1 isn't going to win anything

All he tries is to get an overload down the wings and hope a cross produces something

There is no channel balls no incisive one twos no quick one touch football

It's all to predictable and easy to play against we have struggled against the bottom 3 sides in recent weeks

Granted we beat them all but against better sides we won't for me last night is the straw that broke the camels back

He has created a team with no movement, no pace, no vision, no physical presence and playing a system that clearly DOES not work. We had nearly 70% possession in the first half with no shots on goal. .FFS
We have 12 games left to rescue our season, keeping him would all but end our chances of promotion. Attendances are dropping, fans have had enough of watching this boring drivel every home game. Get him out now whilst we still have a chance of the 3rd promotion place..
