Harrogate had 20 shots today, we looked shaky at the back and really didn?t play that well and we win 3-1.
Of the two performances we were far less deserving of a win today.
Are we playing under more pressure at home which has influenced results?
We certainly don?t play better away from home but our shots/goals ratio must be far better!
    Indeed.

I think we have tended to get the rub of the green in away games.
Whereas, at home, it seems that everything that can possibly go wrong does go wrong.

Agreed, I said similar a few weeks ago.
We?ve had some horrific ref decisions against us this season and they?ve pretty much all been at ML.
The three goals yesterday all had an element of fortune, which hasn?t seemed to happen at home.

Was it at home to Barrow we had an equaliser disallowed after their players surrounded the linesman after the ref initially gave it? I’m sure all clubs have these sob stories, but we have had some real joke officials at Meadow Lane this season.

I've wondered for a while if some refs seem determined not to be influenced by the 'big club, big crowd' thing relative to our opposition. Determined to the point of not giving decisions based on what they actually see because they don't want to appear biased. Although I am admittedly biased in real time, replays have proved we have suffered from some really awful decisions at Meadow Lane.

I know what you mean - it’s the fact that so many decisions consistently go against us from these “awayers” that raises suspicions. We’ve had plenty of penalty shouts this season, but very few penalties - including two clear fouls in one half a few games ago (Crewe?).

Be interesting if Bradford fans feel they have the same problem (though I’m really hoping they do next Saturday).

The foul on Jodi against Cheltenham looked clear as day to me. Put us 2-0 up we win the game and are in the driving seat on Saturday. When you see non decisions like that it does make you look for alternative motives.

Also the foul on Jatta where their player tried to swap shirts early - and he the ref gave the foul against AJ. Pretty sure they scored the winner soon after.

we've done something to p!ss them off I reckon. SM is more direct in his criticism of the officials than manager's used to be - but usually with justification, maybe that. Thought his red card was just silly given some of the elbows and fouls that players get away with on Jatta and Abbott, not to mention JJ's broken leg, Palmers eye socket smashed, Platt bloody nose yesterday...

Then those Coventry playoffs came up the other day...

What I'm holding onto, in terms of repeating patterns, is JJ's winner against Boredem Wood. I wouldn't complain if he did the same on Saturday to seal the last auto spot, no sirree bob.

Gotta admit that nearly tipped me over the edge, had to leave me seat and watch from elsewhere. It might have been the right decision but I have never seen a decision so clearly influenced by player protest. We would never have done that.
