Without furlough there will be no lockdown. People just won't do it.

Heard an English GP on the radio today saying there are gonna be more deaths this winter than normal because of flu vaccine shortages caused by Brexit and the lack of EU lorry drivers.
The Home Secretary is coming under pressure to allow EU nationals back in or these shortages are gonna get worse.

Managed to order my Vaccine Passport in paper form over the phone today,the automated man hung up on me twice but when i selected the wrong option number it was third time lucky.

Without furlough there will be no lockdown. People just won't do it.

Its been going on even with Furlough as there are some of a mindset that they have to be at work no matter what! If in a management position, they also feel they have to force that train of thought onto others and threaten people with dismissal no matter what the danger!

But Lockdown without Furlough is a whole new level of doom altogether!

Been away for a few days and wanted to reply to something when i got home, but now cant find it!

Anyway! Some figures around those over 18s that are not yet vaccinated. 8.7% or 386,096 who are responsible for 58% or 3,692 of daily infections(total 6,966) by one figure i heard through the week. 16.3% or 723,861 have yet to receive 2 doses although 337,751 of those have had one dose. More than 70k under 18s have had at least one dose of the vaccine. Yesterdays vaccination effort stood at 4,815 first doses administered, so thats 80 days until every over 18 gets a first dose.

Further to the above, 14.8% or 18,066 of over 18s in Dundee have still to be vaccinated!

OA, even though you were vaccinated abroad/through your company, you must have been given something to serve as proof of vaccination and therefore should still be able to obtain a vaccine passport somehow, LEGALLY! Time for HR/Occupational Health to do some work on your behalf me thinks?
