Anent its difficulties with *double-entry book-keeping, and Johnston Carmichael’s “fûck this for a game of bean counters” retreat from the conflagration, apparently The Party “has already warned the Electoral Commission it is having ‘difficulty’ in finding a new firm”.

Wasn’t there one founded in 2012 following the hilarious disintegration of the old version?

*advice on double-entry may be available from MPs Hosie and MacNeil, and the fragrant Ms Cowdy ((I wid, but you’d need to send in Taylors Industrial Cleaning first). Rules? Why, certainly.

Reading ( well the word reading might be slightly misleading) the Sunday papers and I see the police are now closing in on the SNP’s purchase of a fridge freezer.

Did their extravagance know no bounds?

I’m also hearing that luxury pens, designer pots and pans as well as the fridge freezer are the subject of ongoing police investigations - I’m hoping that they might also find a couple of fit-for-purpose Shetland-Orkney-Aberdeen ferries that were promised and on their way to us but because we at least have ferries I’m not holding my breath.

There may well be things to investigate, there probably are.

But the police? They never let you down.

It’s like that scene from life of brian when heaps of police search a very small room and come out having found a spoon ( or a fork)

Can just hear Nicola saying - “can you nae just make it ****in’ bawance?” The auditors resigned way back in October, 2022! Accountants are generally keen on new clients but there are no takers, curiously - it might be to do with the duty to report financial irregularities to the authorities? The Electoral Commission will soon have to get involved.

Wonder what column the money raised from Scottish Labours ‘let’s stay in the single market’ campaign is sitting in.

I’m sure the police will be along with the tents…any minute now

Yup ! good shout. Also did we ever get to the bottom of the Tories "dark money" Did the secretive The Scottish Unionist Association Trust ever have tents outside their door ? Monies supposed to be for pro-brexit campaigning funnelled through the DUP ending up in the Scottish Tories coffers,

The police are investigating the SNP and solely the SNP - their defence won’t be in what others were fined for more than three years ago.

Firstly I'm not defending the SNP for a couple of years now I and many others have been saying "skulduggery" has been afoot. The point I'm making is the hypocrisy of the Unionist media. The same media who failed to follow up or indeed go over OTT about serious corruption within Unionist parties, Its a fair comment and perfectly valid.
