Good point, if the fun wilfully act in such a way as to prevent a resolution here, I would expect their insurers to have a strong legal case not to pay ou any compo.

This would surely result in Admin III - and a great chance for the Texans to offload and disappear into the sunset. Maybe that's the plan?

They have had a whole catalogue of issues and are not just sitting bottom on goal difference, they are four points adrift and frankly look like they have had it. It’s not like we are only five games into the season here, we are thirty games in so the old adage of the table doesn’t lie definitely applies here and to be honest Budge I think is looking at this as a possible Get Out Of Jail Free Card with pushing reconstruction. So if we are saying United deserve promotion (and we do) then equally Hearts deserve relegation. But it’s all opinions and I’m not expecting agreement but that’s where I sit.
I wonder if you would be saying the same if the roles were reversed 🤔

4 years ago I think there were plenty of us saying that we deserve to go down. And we did.

But, as I say, that’s how I feel about Hearts but the bottom line is United getting promoted. Period.

A blind man can see celtic, dundee utd and cove would win the leagues but what of league 1?
No easy way out but no real need for spfl to withold cash. Cant really blame my club for no fancying it as it moves the rules and gives us no chance of play off.
Good of you to come out speak Eric but don’t really see any justification for how dundee acted yesterday.

As you say finishing league impossible and this was the fairest alternative.

Hibs were right to say - the least worst option

The theatre of Scottish football often moves between tragedy and farce. Yesterday it was farce.

The most confused on the stage, Dundee FC.

In the first act wanting promotion.

In the second act proposing no promotion and ending the season.

Next, arguing against ending the season.

In the final act this most ardent voter somehow failed to vote

The audience know the real reasons for all this. It was an orgy of self interest and incompetence yesterday.

Like the horrible backdrop of covid 19, this sad spectacle grinds on

Spot on. In an ideal world this should never be going to a vote, it should be the SPFL that calls it otherwise as yesterday you have the situation where Clubs act totally out of self interest. Frankly, you can’t blame them.

But the SPFL won’t call it as they would then stand as the totem open to being sued by Clubs most harshly affected by a decision. So the SPFL look to UEFA for a decision to get them off the hook. But UEFA won’t take a stand and call it because THEY would then get sued by harshly affected Clubs. So UEFA have sought clarification from FIFA but they’ll not call it either as THEY’LL in turn get sued by harshly affected Clubs. So basically the buck passing means that the merry go round happily keeps spinning all the way back to the individual Clubs again as no one is prepared to stand up and bite the bullet. So at this rate, and not just in Scotland, it’ll just keep going round and round and round....................
