My beef against Hales is that he has chosen to not play red ball cricket anymore. Playing red, and white ball cricket can be done, look to Root for a perfect example.
    He certainly divides opinion.

I will always remember his demolition of the Surrey attack in the final at Lords a few years ago.

    No doubting Alex's talent.

He does come across as a bit of a Billy Big Bxxxx and a cocky so and so.
I view him the same as KP, huge talent, questionable character.

Only my opinion which could be total BS.

Maybe his Bxxxx aren’t quite so big after the other night 🤣

My guess is that a cricket ball thudding into them would make them bigger rather than smaller!

    .
I've met Alex a number of times, with my kids at the ground but also on nights out in Nottingham and he has always come across as a decent bloke.

He has clearly made some mistakes which keep him out of the England set-up which is a real shame but Notts have been the major beneficiaries of this.

I don't blame him for not playing red-ball cricket. Its a short career and he is a way better white-ball player and is making the most of that reputation.

Not sure if this has already been discussed on here but Chris Cairns is in hospital on life support after a serious heart problem. Apologies if I'm the last to know.

One of the nicest people I've ever met playing cricket, a competitor but still a gentleman.

I've been watching the live stream (link below) and Northants have just been bowled out for a modest 210. Patterson-White was excellent, returning figures of 10-3-19-5.
