As I suspected. A racist comment. People don't get sacked for calling a player a soft arse or telling them they're underperforming. Players are used to that kind of rhetoric. The quick action of the owners and board hinted to me that this was a racial matter.

I agree with their decision 100%. Even 'casual' racism should not be tolerated. The football world is desperately trying to change attitudes and the club has acted impeccably in my opinion.

Ross is an idiot using language like that, we don't need someone like that at the club. I think the man IB gets in will be good.

The BBC report though says that he resigned.

I think that 'left by mutual consent' is the best option for all concerned.

Probably down to the new series of Strictly.
Durham, Biker and others must be fans also.

New series? Nobody let me know.

You are right Elite, amazing how one injury time penalty and the subsequent 3-2 victory certainly changes the attitudes of some posters . I've certainly noticed it since the final whistle

It'll be the classic NCM Rollercoaster in action, it's more popular than Strictly lol.

I think we should not get carried away. Yesterday was a fantastic effort, but so was Torquay (for 70 mins). We seem to be very good when we somehow become the underdog, yet when we play teams we should be beating comfortably we struggle.
I hope the squad go to a Barnet side with absolutely zero to play for and show the league what we are about in a positive sense. Consistency is very much a commodity we have been short of. Hopefully the next 10-11 games we put that to bed and show it in abundance.

If we get to play 10-11 games that will help our cause, if we can go on a run. The rest of the league might object though.

We won't get in the top 3 so if we go up, we'll be playing 11 games
