That offside decision against O’Brien at the end is amazing, only the three defenders and about three yards keeping him onside!

I'm not sure their keeper had full control/possession of the ball either for DKE's goal. I've seen those given before now.

I’ve seen them given, but I can’t really disagree with the ref there. The ‘keeper has got at least some control of the ball - I’d be annoyed if that was given as a goal against us.

At the time I just accepted that he was offside, never gave it a second thought. But what an horrendous decision, not sure how the linesman cocked that up.

In terms of the DKE disallowed goal. I could be biased, but I didn’t think the keeper had both hands on the ball.

Correction. If the ball is between one hand and the surface it’s deemed to be under control.

Watch it again KK. I see the keeper just reaching down for the ball as DKE makes contact?

That was poor. And some slick movement and passing to create the goal as well. Certainly far too slick for the lino.

I think the DKE goal could go either way. I can see why the ref would disallow that.

However, the offside decision is completely unacceptable, it's not even margnial. A woeful decision at any level. The sort of call you get on the rec on a Sunday when the oppositions sub is running the line.
