According to my mate Stall on CM there isn't much of an 'owner's shadow' quite the opposite in fact. His words were along the lines that the owners backed the head coach an let them get on with it.

We know this isn't the case with signings. That's the model.
Ardley's apparent transformation at Solihull would suggest they have an impact on mentality as well.

Today's play off final may yet turn out to be a case of deja vu though, if he bottles it again.

Well that's both outcomes from today match well covered UTM

You are correct that's the well known and publicised model for 'recruitment' and one no doubt the new manager (whoever they may be) will be quite happy with. Or why would you take the job when offered right?

As I've said before recruitment under this system (radar) has performed significantly better than the old system so I'm very happy with that part of the model

As Stall said the owners "back the manager" and "let them get on with". If Stall is correct then not many shadows at all for the manager to burst through.

    .
Exactly. The interview process would basically be "How well do you think you can adapt to what we want from a head coach" rather than "What difference do you think you could make to this club?"

I don't think they'd have got as far as the interview if they needed to adapt. They'd have been selected for interview based on the fact that they are already the right type. IMO.

Exactly Swale, continuity and a uniform approach.

It's certainly a much duller approach compared to those rollercoaster days lurching from one disaster to another but likely better for the club's health.

    Quite possibly, yes.

"Seamless" as the statement put it.
