What I meant Cayton is a player can still score goals into his middle thirties, so the long contract is passable, I
just named Billy Sharp as a player in his later thirties. Hugill is a centre-forward, where I would say Billy Sharp
is a poacher in the football sense.

Yeah I got what your saying Eric you could have used Ronaldo and plenty more examples but my point was if a player is not prolific in his prime. He's not going to start scoring goals in his 30s so for hugill as the example. 79 goals in a career spanning 17 clubs and 12 years as a pro and over 330 games. imo a 3.5 year deal is a bit worrying.
