Yeah I got what your saying Eric you could have used Ronaldo and plenty more examples but my point was if a player is not prolific in his prime. He's not going to start scoring goals in his 30s so for hugill as the example. 79 goals in a career spanning 17 clubs and 12 years as a pro and over 330 games. imo a 3.5 year deal is a bit worrying.

Well my six year old granddaughter has suddenly developed a love for football and now wants to start going to games. I’ve always believed you should support your local team, old fashioned view I know, and it would seem unfair to drag her all the way over to Bolton to suffer grandads lot so we may well swell your numbers by two next year Grud??

I came the other way and ended up taking my girls to see Bury. Unfortunately that didn't end well!

    Lets break it down ...

A 19 year old who cost 5 million
A 32 Year old who has bags of Experience in this league and as a captain
A winger who has struggled at one club but shined at others and was motm at Watford .
and a striker who has player in the premier league ...It easy to twist things to suit a agenda the signing are fantastic and show TS has realised he needs to push the boat out a bit .Hugil and Morrison will be on big money the other 2 maybe on a wage share but still a large wedge i suspect . Yes i was very critical of Mr Stewart i even called for him to sell some of his stake and get some investment in BUT SO FAR January has been very acceptable 1 or 2 more and we may stay up and can look to next season and getting things sorted quicker .

Could not use my bus pass before 9.30am, so thumbed a lift, even me walking on hot coals would
not get a name, until the player[s] have signed & sealed the deal.

Gives us the best chance of survival we've ever had.
Competition for places, plenty of options for MT.
Nothing guaranteed of course, take 4th bottom now.
Credit where credits due, well done all concerned at RUFC.
