I actually feel sorry for Maynard he's worked hard for years to get a chance like this and he will have expected some defenders to have been signed to help. Notts County Football Club, you have let your manager down and you are letting all the fans down who have turned up in huge numbers this season to support the team.

He has 'moves' that's for sure, but what's the opposite of 'inspire' or inspiration? Whatever it is, he has that in spades as well.

Yes it is as we are leaking lots of goals at home thats 10 in last 3 games we were never this bad.

Gone back to back 3 again and he will likely go to a back 4 at Bradford now Warner is injured.

Record season ticket sales, highest crowds the club has had for years, general feelgood factor around the club following promotion back into the League, all these attacking players who any other team in this League would love to have and we've pissed the entire season up the wall all because we didn't strengthen the defence. Utterly disgusting. Hope the owners have enjoyed the good crowds this season cos they ain't gonna be getting them next season.
Absolutely correct, fans knew we needed better defenders for this league, now we are paying the price for it.

Disastrous. Goodness only knows how long it is since we've lost three consecutive home games. We can't defend for toffee. I can't really see this getting fixed under Mr. Maynard. Can anyone? I know it's not many games but he seems to have systematically dismantled everything that was good about us while not fixing what was bad!

Around midnight tonight, the ghost of Aileen Trew will appear in the main stand wildly clapping and giving the thumbs up to Jamie Fullarton.

Everybody keeps talking about the frailties of the defence, but what do we expect when they are being asked to play negative football? With any team, the game plan should be to encourage the talents of the team, not expose it. Whoever plays at the back should be coached that their first job is to prevent chances for the opposing team. If that means kicking it forward or into row Z, then so be it.

While we keep playing this form of suicidal football, we are going nowhere.

Wrexham, with much better players than us, had 75% possession against FGR and had to rely on a 93 minute penalty from Paul Mullin.

It doesn't matter who is picked in defence or goalkeeper, things will/could only get worse. They lasted last season on playing teams that weren't as good, a bit of luck and a we'll score more goals than you philosophy. Added to that the confidence level was much higher than it is now, sets us up for a long end to this season and a concern for next.

He won’t be bothered wants he’s paid up for the rest of his contract and got some more cash in the pension coffers.
Only job in the world football management where you can be clueless get sacked in every job and be a millionaire by the end of it.

He is already a dead man walking imo he has had some saying he has had tough games but tonight bottom side scored 4 and could have got more.

I wasnt expecting us to win I hoped we would in the space of a month he has drained all the confidence away.

He is lucky we have 48 points on the board and im 100% confident of no relegation but next season ???
