Baldwin was a great addition to the defence (in the national league) Langstaff and Scott had goals galore that replaced Wootton (who I rate but had he been a more clinical finisher, we'd have had a much better season previously) and also bought in Bostock and Jones who were ***** to us going up

I always liked Baldwin as he was probably our best defender in winning headers and tackles and on the ball he was pretty good. Cameron got my bloody pressure higher as he struggled to win a headers 1 on 1 and I’m sure he’s about 6ft 3. I like Platt, I think he just prides himself on winning duals and he’s ok with the ball and I think SMs took the pressure off by not saying you have to pass it out no matter what. Bedeau seems the exact same mould, battle first play after.

Just looked it up. Yeah their pitch is 101 x 64m. Meadow Lane is a colossal 104m x 70m.. that’s a fair old chunk of distance.

Agree they have made some great signings of all shapes and ages and significantly increased our hit rate. I also love the calculated risks they take and the varied age profiles.

We got played off the park by a team that lost Walsall 4-0 at home. I'd hardly say this was a shining example of a great squad. Two individual bits of class by McGoldrick won is a game that lets be honest, we did not deserve to win or even draw

I just googled it, and it came straight up. Pitch sizes are a bit flexible though so I’m not 100% sure that info is bang up to date, but maybe what Lincs Pie has linked to is.

With regards Didzy , i think the club should tie him down to become part off the coaching staff once his days are over . The guy sweats and bleeds Notts if you ask me. Not only a top player , but he seems modest, intelligent and a loveable guy , the kind off person you run through brick walls for. Start having the conversation now gents !x

agree. That he's feeling more invested in this season could be another reason why he's so up for it. Great for us

eta: SM would have to be on board with a Didzy role in coaching/mentoring. If this is happening, it also reflects (well, imo, so far at least!) on SM's management.
