Its a brave game we are playing, waiting on specific targets. If it comes off then its worth the wait, but if the last minute one (or two) fall through then you are ****ed. Don't mind waiting until transfer deadline day for them, because they are long term plans, so I'm happy for them to miss 4-5 games if they are here and improve the team for 2-3 seasons.

    A lot of ifs though

It's worth bearing in mind we have pretty much the same team (minus McNulty but plus Mulgrew) as did quite well last season. I know a few folk are very down on this fact but we have a proven solid base NOW.

True but McNulty was excellent that day and was the main focal point to our attacking play. On top of that for as good as we were that day that Sheepies team were awful and will deff not be as bad as that.

An MM style ground out draw will do me.

We were the lowest scorers in the league last season with a goalscorer in Shankland as a striker. There is a reason for that. It hasn't been rectified.

Robson won't be involved which does weaken us until we have a replacement, he is good enough for this level and coming into his prime years

So yes, a couple players from what won their in April but dynamic of the team is a bit different, difficult game but winnable

Reading what Tam said I think we will be bringing in signings. These maybe be loanees but still it will be new faces. That said I can see much happening until we sell.

I have stood up and defended Jamie a fair bit, but i dont think his moving will weaken us one bit. Duffy and Freeman could do a job there, and if Sporle is still here and back in the team, i see him as being perfect fit for the way we appear to be playing this season.

But we weren't the lowest team in the league meaning there were a few clubs with worse defensive records than us.
