    I remember the stanchions. Something of a bygone era even for our age group.

    Shocking that neither the referee or the linesman missed such a thing.

    Not that uncommon as in the early 1990s when Andy Thomson was banging in goals for fun there were at least 15 games that ended 0 - 0
