Why shouldn't there be targets for ILLEGAL immigration?

Not sure I understand why their should be actual targets?

Why shouldn't there just be a properly thought through strategy and practical actions to remove proven illegal immigrants?

What value does having targets bring to the situation? What good do they do?? The only thing that targets seem to do on something like this is cause people to behave dishonestly and do damage people to innocent people's lives in order to meet them...

And to add to Rudd, how about the other FOUR conservative candidates that have been suspended from their party in the last week:

    George Stokely (Cambridge) - antisemitism

Patty, I'm sad to see you've joined the gang.

Only the Gang of Four ( my current and three former wives). I pay too much alimony to be able to afford subscriptions to gangs or clubs).

I'm a bit ambivalent on the target issue.

Every organisation has to be able to monitor and drive it's activities. If you are a business that make widgets you need to be able to drive productivity to ensure that you remain competitive and so might have a target of a number of widgets per person per hour.

The difficulty arises when it's people and not widgets that are the subject of the business activity, particularly if the targeting distorts decision making. That such distortion occurred is the case that Labour needs to make if it is to dent May. I don't rate their chances with Abbott leading the charge.

Interesting to see animal batting for immigrants given his previous calls to eject all Muslims from this country.
